RELIEF INDIA TRUST INVOLVEMENT ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION

The state of India is one of the countries that is filled with so many kinds of non-governmental organizations that all deal in their own kind of specialization. Some of the organizations deal in only one specific issue in society, but others like Relief India Trust are diverse and deal directly with all the situations that the common Indian citizen faces. The diverse nature of the organization means that it can reach to more people in different situations and provide the same care as other specialized organizations. One of the major problems that the trust has faced as well as other organizations is the issue on environmental conservation.

The environment we live in is one of the most important things in our lives and as such it should be carefully taken care as we directly depend on it for survival. For there to be a future for India, there is great need for the people as all to start caring for the environment they live in. This is due to the fact the environment will definitely determine whether future condition in the country will be bearable. Due to this importance, the Relief India Trust has undertaken measures to ensure that the environment is kept safe for future prosperity. Some of the measures into place by the trust include the following;

1.       Proper waste disposal
The uncontrolled dumping of waste across the country is one the major problems that the environment faces in the country. This is due to the fact that most of the waste that is disposed off is not done in the proper way thus polluting the environment.  Relief India trust is involved in numerous campaigns to raise awareness about proper garbage disposal techniques that don’t pose a threat to the environment. The trust is also directly involved in policy making so that the industries in India are careful about their waste disposal measures. Through this initiative, the trust aims at improving the aesthetic and value of the environment of India for coming generations.

2.       Green energy solutions
Most of the developed countries in the world have had so many climatic difficulties due to the fact they had uncontrolled energy consumption. As a result, most of the upcoming countries have learnt the need to have controlled energy use in their population. To control this situation, the government in conjunction with the trust is working hand in hand to ensure that the country does not get into uncontrolled energy. The trust is on the forefront in advocating that the people and most industries take up new green energy sources to reduce the amount of pollution that is done
.
3.       Forest and vegetation conservation
Trees are known as nature’s equalizers. This is due to the fact they are responsible for the cleansing of the atmosphere of the carbon that we produce. Due to the vital role that they play in the environment, it’s imperative that they are kept around and in plenty. Therefore, the trust is highly involved in the creation of awareness to the need to ensure they remain present always. Also, the organization is dedicated to flagging any deforestation activities on India’s tree population.  Through all the above and more, the trust is creating a better environment for India’s tomorrow.
