Cases of diseases ravaging people in locations are one of
the things that the world over has grown accustomed to from all areas. This is
of course due to so many factors. However, governments all across the world are
ever coming up with solutions to boost the medical sector in the fight against
diseases. Joining in the fight are non-governmental organizations such as the Relief
India Trust. The joining of forces is a move to increase the chances of
prosperity of future generations against diseases.
However, in the fight against disease, the organization
faces a serious challenge of ignorance among those that are affected. One of
the cases that the organization is involved in, is the fight against HIV/AIDS.
In this case, the organization has had to face people that are ignorant to the
parameter involved with the disease. As such the frantic efforts of the
organization to help out in the situation go to waste as more people keep
getting infected. This has in turn made the organization develop a system of
educating the public on ways to conduct themselves. This has been done in all
other conditions so that there are reduced cases of people contracting diseases
due to the lack of knowledge.
Apart from education, the Relief India Trust is also widely
involved in many other ways of combating disease. One of the major ways the
organization is tackling the issue is through research. The research activities
have been carried out in the following means;
·
Research
facility centers
For serious scientific research, the Relief India Trust has
set up well equipped laboratories. In these laboratories, the organization has
assembled some of the best research experts to come together and come up with a
solution and ways to combat disease on a higher level in India. Through these
facilities, the organization is able to get better solutions to improve the
medical care for the Indian Citizen. In most cases, the research is funded by
the organization, but in some cases it might get the funds from the central
government and invest them in research. In other situations, the organization
sponsors potential doctors and even researchers through their education for
future assistance in the research facilities.
·
Government
involvement
The only way India will become a disease free state is only
if the NGO’s around and the government work together seriously. This is
because, through collaboration the two parties can distribute the resources
equally across all sections so that all the people have access to essential
medical care.
·
Collaboration
As said previously, teamwork is good to combat diseases in the medical sector.
The trust collaborates with all partners in the research for cure and better
disease control mechanisms. This is done either locally with other organization
or even more advanced international institutions. Through this integration,
both parties can contribute to another and come up with several alternatives to
dealing with problematic diseases.
With all the above methods and much more, the trust believes
that the fight against diseases is one that can be won.
