India is believed to be a superpower underway, but is this
really true? The country has a population exceeding 1.2 billion people making
it quite difficult for the government to manage them all on its own. More than
half of this population is struggling with poverty and hardly three meals a
day. The level of poverty is on the rise each day and social problems taking
advantage of every situation. Ignorance, illiteracy and unemployment are too on
their peak, making the level of development of the country to come down
drastically. Despite the great achievements the country has made, the road to
becoming the world’s superpower is quite far. It needs the intervention of
social welfare organizations such as Relief India Trust and others to bring the
changes soonest possible.
With corruption and terrorism hitting the ceiling and
culprits not held accountable by the authorities, the problems will still hit
the country, no matter how hard the government may seem to try. But wait, what
really brings about these social evils? The answer to that is simply illiteracy
and lack of moral responsibility from every citizen in the country. Many could
say it is a shame to see many street children begging for food, many poor
people dying in poverty and millions others without a roof over their heads.
But what have you done as an individual to change things for these needy and
less privileged people? What role have you played as your brother’s keeper?
Before blaming the government on its failures, it is important that you
considered extending a helping hand to your next needy neighbor or simply send
your contribution to any charity organization like Relief India Trust committed
to improving the quality of life for everybody and thereby boosting
developments in the country.
The Relief India Trust is one of the great NGOs that have brought
a sigh of relief to many needy people in the society. Starting with children,
the organization has helped a great deal in educating all street and slum
children by setting up schools, distributing learning materials and supporting
them financially in their studies. They have also ensured all children get free
medical checkups and treatment and above all, providing them with the basic
amenities such as food, shelter and clothing.
Women in the Indian society were initially regarded as
useless members and often their rights violated in one way or the other. The
Relief India Trust is now here fighting for the rights of all people, including
women, to a point now the condition of women is quite improved. Women
empowerment is what the trust looks into so as to make the society an all
inclusive society. You can never ignore the contribution of women towards
societal development unless you are planning to fail. Relief India Trust
understands this and greatly focuses on this section of the society.
In short Relief India is an NGO that has done miracles indeveloping the Indian Society all ways round. Through several and regular camps
organized by this trust, it has been able for the country to establish a strong
society where every citizen is valued. You can also join hands with the charityorganization to make the objectives a reality.
