They are always in need of some form of assistance, in order to get rid of the faced challenges. To cope with this problem, some philanthropists or donors have established some relief trusts that aim at providing the above mentioned deprived segment of society by providing them with basic human rights. The ReliefIndia Trust is also one of those famous relief organizations, which actively participate in relief activities, assisting the poor people at every juncture of challenge and tough time. So keeping in view the prominent contribution of these organizations in mind, some of the key features of these trusts will be elaborated in the following paragraphs:

Rather, their funds are collected by the contributions of donors and philanthropists who willingly contribute to serve the deserving segment of humanity. Moreover, volunteerism is also one of the major sources of functioning of these trusts. There are many people who are ready to contribute their various types of skills for assisting the poor people in meeting their basic needs. The volunteers belong to various professional fields, such as expert doctors, educationists etc. Besides, assessing the invaluable contribution of these trusts, every individual is willing to donate and contribute to the noble cause.

·         Eradication of poverty
The role of non-profit organizations in eradication of poverty is also unprecedented. These trusts are striving at their best to eradicate poverty, by assisting the poor people living in remote areas. The poor people are assisted in meeting their various types of basic needs, such as nutritional needs, educational needs, and medical need along enabling them to enjoy equal status in the society where they are living in.

·         Creating awareness and mobilizing communities
Awareness and community mobilization in bringing progress and prosperity to societies. Once people are aware and mobilize towards development activities, then the revolution is guaranteed in such societies. Keeping the importance of this grave issue in mind, the cited organizations give their efforts day and night in executing awareness campaigns and mobilizing people, in order to achieve their mission of getting developed and progressive societies.

·         Arranging blood donation camps
As part of their mission to provide adequate health facilities, various medical camps are organized by the Relief India Trust where free medicine is provided. Along with that blood donation campaign is run, urging people to donate their blood for poor yet deserving people of various remote areas. Where they succeed in collecting sufficient amount of blood, which is later on used to help poor people subject to their needs, this is how this trust continues its relief activities.
